This book explores the future of print by integrating innovative technologies while preserving the essence of traditional paper. Designed to enhance the reader's emotional engagement, it incorporates interactive elements using Arduino touch sensors. When readers touch the printed letters, music plays, creating a multisensory experience that bridges the gap between physical and digital media. By introducing new functionalities to paper books, this project reimagines their potential in an era dominated by electronic reading.
Yi Sang flies away
To reflect the enigmatic nature of Yi Sang’s works, I incorporated mazes into the book design. His writing is known for its complexity and abstraction, often featuring symbolic elements such as dots, numbers, and triangles. Each maze represents one of his works, with the letters within the maze forming its original title. Just as solving a maze requires deciphering hidden paths, engaging with his literature involves unraveling multiple layers of meaning. The final torn black paper symbolizes transcendence beyond reality, suggesting that through death, he ultimately ascended to an ideal, otherworldly realm.
50 Years of the Korean School in London: A Photographic History
This book was commissioned to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Korean School in London. Designed as a visual chronicle, it primarily features historical photographs that capture five decades of the school’s legacy. The use of black-and-white and lower-resolution original images preserves the authenticity of its history. The design integrates bold typography with photography, creating a compelling narrative that honors the past while maintaining a strong visual identity.

This travel essay book explores the architecture and culture of Algeria, Tunisia, and Morocco through the author's personal journey. The design emphasizes simplicity, allowing the author's own photography to take center stage and visually narrate the experience. The minimalist layout enhances readability while maintaining a strong visual connection to the subject matter, ensuring that the essence of each location is captured with clarity and authenticity.
